World Renowned Pop Culture Event to Livestream to One of Europe’s Largest Video Game Conferences Connecting Fans In Real Time
NEW YORK, June 20, 2016 – New York Comic Con (NYCC) has quickly become one of the world’s preeminent comic and entertainment Fan events and this year it will export its content internationally, livestreaming to one of Europe’s greatest gaming events – Firstlook Festival. ReedPOP, the world’s leading producer of pop culture events and organizer of New York Comic Con, today announces a partnership with Blammo Events, producers of Firstlook Festival (FLF) that will connect the two Fan events as never before. This partnership follows an ongoing strategy to bring NYCC out of the Javits Center in Manhattan and in front of those people who live and breathe the type of one-of-a-kind Fan experiences it curates.
Through the partnership ReedPOP will livestream unique content from NYCC Panels, Guest appearances and other events that make the event so popular with Fans. The Livestream will coincide with Firstlook Festival programming October 7-9. In addition, unique (gaming-related) content will be streamed from Firstlook Festival to NYCC, making it the first time in event history that two events are connected in this way.
