Account & Sponsorship Specialist

This position is based at the ReedPOP offices in Singapore

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and growing key customer relationships within the toys, games and comics space.  You will be expected to be a pop culture champion and share your knowledge with the group, helping teammates to understand our customers and the potential for new products and best practice.  Pre-existing strong relationships in the toys, games and comics space and dealing with government agencies would be advantageous.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Actively solicit and close booth and sponsorship sales through sourcing and developing new leads, cold calls and face-to-face meetings
  • Explore clients’ marketing needs and provide customer-focused solutions to meet their business goals
  • Manage sales pipeline
  • Maintaining and growing your knowledge of your markets, clients and developments in the market sector
  • Support the development and cross promotion for our global portfolio by identifying other revenue streams


  • Degree/Diploma in any discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of B2B/B2C sales/sponsorship sales experience 
  • Proven record of strong sales achievements
  • Focused and motivated to achieve personal/group sales targets
  • Pro-active and energetic self-starter who is able to work well in a team environment as well as on an individual basis
  • Good interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
  • Extreme level of attention to detail
  • Flexibility in adapting to deadlines, changing schedules, priorities and unpredictable events in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and balance the immediate and long term needs
  • Passion for gaming, pop culture and the industry
